Exporting Dashboard to Excel / PDF for Overlapped Matrix Visuals

Hello,

We have prepared a financial dashboard using PowerBI Desktop. There are several table matrix visuals overlapped on top of each other in the dashboard. Sample screenshot is attached of the same is attached for reference (Screenshot_1). We have some concerns regarding different export options (excel/pdf) for the dashboard.

1) Is there any way to export all the tables at one go instead of manually clicking on each one? (Please refer to the attached Screenshot_1). Currently we are unable to figure out any such option.

2) Whenever individual table matrix is exported to excel, all the rows are exported as columns. Is it possible to display the same as rows (Please refer to the attached Screenshot_2)?

3) What is the recommended size and browser option for PDF export? The PDF's don't look uniform in different browsers (edge, chrome etc), the lines are often misaligned. Kindly provide recommendations.

hi

For 1, it couldn't achieve in power bi for now.

for 2, you are using several table matrix visuals overlapped, there are only fileds in values, so it will lead the problem.

for 3, have a look this document

  • When you export to PDF with reports that contain a background image, you might see a distorted image in the export if you use the Normal or Fill options for the Page Background. For best results, use the Fit option to avoid issues with your exported document.
