Export to Excel from Power BI

For one of our customers, we have a requirement to export the data into excel, which is feasible, but the no of lines is more than 5 lacs. Exporting data in excel from Power BI has a limit of 1.5 lacs of lines, which is not acceptable to the customers.

Is there a direct solution or as a workaround, can one suggest a way to split the excel into multiple worksheets. we are facing a error for the same.

@gauravs09 ,

The maximum number of rows that the applications can export from an import mode report to an .xlsx file is 150,000.

When using DirectQuery, the maximum amount of data that Power BI can export is 16-MB uncompressed data. An unintended result may be that you export less than the maximum number of rows of 150,000.

As a workaround, you may use visual level filters to filter the visual down to 150,000 rows and export underlying data in power bi service.
