Export the Crosstab/matrix report in same format

While I export a crosstab/matrix report. It gets exported in tabular data format.

I want the report to be downloaded in same matrix format.

This is the current functionality and always has been. I agree I would like to export the matrix as it's viewed in PBI and there are several ideas on the ideas forum to vote for this: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi?WT.mc_id=Community

As the @jcarville said, it's not supported to export matrix visual in matrix format in Excel. You can vote for this same idea: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/15164733-allow-table-and-matrix-data-exports-to-match-power
