Export all report pages to excel, retaining the visual table formats

Hello,

Is it possible to export all power bi report pages to excel, not the dataset bur the report pages themselves? Ive built a report that has few summary graphs visuals and whole bunch of tabs with financial tables. Having the report in power bi definitely streamlines the process of refresh, however having the financial tables exported in excel helps with analysis. Is this possible to export?

Thanks

Hi, @Anonymous

Unfortunately, it is unsupported to export all power bi report pages to excel. You may export summarized data  from a specific visual to excel. This type of export shows you only the data that was used to create the current state of the visual. If the visual has filters applied, then the data you export will also be filtered.

Or you may try Export reports to PowerPoint in Power BI Service to see if it helps.

When you export to PowerPoint, the following occurs:

  • Each page in the Power BI report becomes an individual slide in PowerPoint.
  • Each page in the Power BI report is exported as a single high-resolution image in PowerPoint.
  • You can preserve the filters and slicers settings that you've added to the report.
  • A link is created in PowerPoint that links back to the Power BI report.

Best Regards

Allan
