Export Data option removed or missing from dashboards shared with external tenants

External Tenants are not able to export to data. Users within our domain are able to Export data.

Just following up in this issue. External users are only able to see data and unable to export. This option available before.

Are the external users able to click the dashboard tile to go to the report page? They should be able to see the ellipsis menu and export data there.

I have two screen shots that show what the external tenants and our internal tenants see when they click the elllipse.  The export data option is missing  for extermal tenants. thanks

Just following up. External Tenants are payinng $10 a month and are questioning why they are not 

getting full functionality of the product.  Please fix this !!!.

Could you please help collect the fiddler traces when external user trying to view the report and click the ellipses (then there should be no export option there)?

Please enable following option in fiddler and make sure there is only one browser page/tab opened during the repro.

  I have opened a ticket with microsoft and uploaded the fiddler trace and also the output from steps recorder. The ticket number is REG:117102316539551].

The support engineer has already reported this problem to the product team, and they are looking into it.

Thanks Herbert.  Can we change the status to accepted. Looking forward to getting this fixed . We are trying very hard to manage the expectations of many of our external tenants who are paying 10 dollars a month just to view reports. if this doesnt get fixed we will have to send them a pbix shell and then have them load the csv file which we will send when data changes. They will stop being power bi pro users.

Please check with your Power BI Admin in the admin portal, what the below option is. If the guest user is not in the allowed list, they cannot export data.

Settings gear > admin portal > Tenant Settings > Export Data
