Embedding a Tile with a dynamic measure as its title affects the height of the visual

Hi Power BI Legends!

We've recently discovered that we can use measures in the titles for our Visuals! Awesome! However we found an issue when embedded these tiles.

Issue:

We're using the Power BI Embedded Tile API to embed the tiles from our dashboards into our apps.  When we embed a tile with a measure set as it's title, we find that the Visual overflows the height we set in our embed code.  The numebr of pixels the visual overflows by, seems to match the number of pixels taken up by the title above the visual.  Therefore, the bottom of our visual is cut off.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a visual and set a measure as the title

2. Pin the visual to a dashboard

3. Embed the visual in a HTML page with dimensions set to 722px width and 500px height

4. View the visual and observe the dimensions of the embedded tile

Expected result:

We expext a visual with a 'dynamic' title would display exactly in the same way as when the title is 'hard-coded'. Therefore, we expect that the entire visual, including the title would apear within the dimensions specified.

Actual result:

The title is visible, but the overall tile is taller than specified and the end result is that the bottom of our visual (including important info like the legend) get's cut off.

Observations:

The 'dynamic' title takes up 65px.  We observed that the visual is moved down by 65px, which accounts for why the visual gets cut off at the bottom.

I really look forward to hearing when this is likely to be fixed! As we have great plans for incorporating dynamic titles in our charts 🙂

Thank you!
