Embedded reports don't change tabs with bookmarks

In the Power BI embedded, I have bookmarks that do navigation to different tabs.  The issue is that the tab selection does not change with the navigation. When I click the bookmark, it correclty navigates to the right tab, but the tab selection has not changed, so in order to return to the previous tab, you have to select another tab, then select the tab you wanted to go back to in the first place.
