Embedded data between Slicer not holding start/end

I have an embedded dashboard with a date slicer, "Between" selected from header type, that is not holding values. It works perfect in the desktop and when accessed through the app.powerbi.com workspace but glitches when interacted with in the embedded instance. Screen shot (gif) of error below:
