Dragging Join in Relationship Display Crashes app

In the Relationship Display, if you try to create a join that already exists, a rapid script pops up and the app crashes. This is new since the December update.  In the past, it would not do this.  Several releases ago, it would tell you you already have a joined relationship.

This is a known issue. Please refer to PowerBI-Desktop-Crashes-when-I-create-a-new-relationship. The report ID is CRI 54333777.

Hi All,

 

This issue will be fixed in the January release 2018. The workaround could be establishing relationship with Manage Relationships in the ribbon.
