Downgrading pbix from PowerBI Oct 2019 to earlier version

I am trying to open a file saved with the PowerBI Oct 2019 release with a PowerBI May 2019.  I

 

I receive the following error - can anyone let me know if I can do anything to get this to open with an earlier release?  Downgrading the file from Aug/Sept 2019 to the May 2019 version worked fine.

Currently the Power BI desktop doesn't support backward compatibility completely. As the report is saved with the Power BI October version 2019, please install this same Power BI desktop version to open the report.

Hi, I have the same issue and I dont understand what you mean. My file worked during the morning and when I try to open it 2h later I get this message. How should I handle this in the best way?
