Display the aggregation as Distinct if I select Count Distinct

The label appears as "Count of XXXX" if you choose Count as the aggregation.

The label appears as "Count of XXXX" if you choose Count Distinct as the aggregation.

When you look at the Values field to see the aggregation, there's no way to visually know if it's Distinct or not without selecting the field and seeing which of the options was chosen.

@wrek

You can create measure with custom name to distinguish between them.

I’ve also reported it internally to Power BI Team: CRI 31883619

I’ll post here once I get any update about it.

@wrek

I’ve got response from the team.

This is by design. We've noted the feedback and will keep an eye out for additional user feedback on this issue, but we won't be making any immediate changes to this area.

Herbert

What design criteria is being satisfied by requiring the user to go through extra steps to determine the state of their data? This doesn't sound like something that adds value, it sounds like something else... I will say, I am not and will not be the only one with this complaint and in the coming months, as PowerBI overtakes its competition, this item will eventually be addressed.
