Direct query with power bi online

Hi All, 

directquery connected with power bi desktop is working fine now when i publish to online then it showing error

please let me know how we can resolve this issue

Hi @Anonymous ,

According to the error message, it sound like related to Azure credentials. Please make sure you have configured the data sources and gateways for it correctly in Power BI Service.

About Azure credentials, you can refer these documents:

  1. Configure and manage Azure AD authentication with Azure SQL 
  2. Configure Azure Multi-Factor Authentication Server to work with AD FS in Windows Server 
  3. AAD Auth Error - Login failed for user '' Part 2 

 

In addition, simliar issue has been submited internal(ICM: 248133932) and would update here as soon as possible if there is any progress.

@v-yingjl when i importing data and publish to power bi service and then live refreshing is working but with directquery its not working
