Direct query access to a dataset & modification of the source

I noticed these 2 possible problems related to direct Query access to pbi dataset (tables member  of a V2 composite model)

1)In power query, the query is not visible therefore impossible (in my opinion) to configure (via parameter)  an access to source (name of dataset)

2) In data source parameters, if we change the name of the source dataset, it seems that this causes the re-construction of the local model

So if you have included new measures in the tables, they are "overwritten"

Solutions: declare them in a special table dedicated to KPIs

There are also a few limitations you need to keep in mind:

• Parameters for database and server names are currently disabled.
