Direct Query and Custom Date Table

As soon as I created a new date table, I can no longer save the file. I recieve two respective errors (with CANCEL on first error). I can produce this result each and every time by repeating same action.

The problem appears to be using directquery with min max on datetable of imported table

Hi @Anonymous,

Would you please share detail steps for us to reproduce the issue?

By the way, there is a Power BI desktop February version 2.66.5376.1681 released. You can try to test with this version to see if the same issue occurs.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu

1. import a table (SQL this case) as Direct Query

2. create a date table with min and max for date range from a date field in the table imported in step 1.

3. save the file

Hi @Anonymous ,

I have tested on my side with Power BI desktop version 2.66.5376.1681 64-bit (February 2019) but not able to reproduce the issue follow your steps:

I see you create a table use other functions besides Calendar() function. Please just create a table use Calendar() function to see if the same issue occurs. Also please try the same Power BI desktop version as ours then test again.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
