Hi @Mugwanya

From your description, it looks like the issue happens when you connect live to SSAS multidimensional database, right?

Please connect to the same SSAS instance in Import mode, check if the same issue occurs.

Also please check your SSAS instance edition, if it's Business Intelligence and Enterprise SKU. See: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/service-gateway-enterprise-manage-ssas#limitations-of-anal...

Hi. Sorry for the delay. It is the Developer edition of SQL Server, which is the equivalent of Enterprise. I can connect and Get Data fine in import mode.

Thanks for helping

Hi @Mugwanya

Please update the Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.69.5467.2151 then test again. If the issue still occurs, I would suggest you create a support ticket to let engineers look into the issue on your side.

Latest version hasn't helped, so I will open a support ticket as suggested.

Thanks for your time.
