Decomposition Tree Failed to load in Direct Query

Getting below error, while expaniding Decomposition Tree in Direct Query mode.

I tried the latest version to create a report and it seems to be working fine.

I have connected report to AAS in Direct query mode(Power BI Desktop version May 2021).Can you please check the same ?

Getting the same error. Repro steps:

start with a blank report

added connection to Azure Analysis Services Database

added decomposition tree visual with AAS measure as the Analyze field

added two attributes to the Explain by fields

everything looks good.

Clicked Add a local model in the lower right hand corner

visual shows an error:

Is this supported? I see that DirectQuery is supported now, but is "DirectQuery to AS" / Local Model supported?

Any updates on the issue? 

I also have Decomposition tree failed when I changed Live connection to DirectQuery.
