Dataverse connector in Power BI shows "null" for choice name columns on some tables

Hello,

There is an issue when connecting a table from Dataverse into Power BI where Power BI/Power Query displays "null" in the name columns of choice fields instead of the choices' names. The numerical representation of the choice is still present. This issue is inconsistent, some tables show the names, but other tables do not. Also recreating the table in Dataverse does not fix the issue.

For example, when viewing the table in Power Query, you see the following for choice-type fields:

A similar issue has been reported internally.

This is a known issue. There should be unpublished changes to the choice columns that display NULL values. Either the choice type behind the column is newly created or the choice type behind the column have newly added values.

Either way, the user should publish the component affected by the choice type which underwent the changes suggested above.

Hi!

Is this issue going to be fixed or is the solution to always publish the affected component? If the issue is not going to be fixed, some of the columns can't be used in reporting because of the dissapearing/reapearing values.

Passei pelo mesmo problema e consegui resolver da seguinte forma:

1º Vá ao dataverse no menu "Tabelas" e escolha a sua tabela

2º Procure a categoria "Experiências de dados" e entre em "Formulários"

3º Na coluna "Tipo de formulário", abra o "Principal"

De certeza que os campos que aparecem null não estão nesse formulário, então vamos ter que adicionar.

4º A esquerda aparecem os campos que não estão no formulário, devemos arrastar todos os que precisamos para o formulário.

5º Agora é só Guardar e Publicar (esses botões ficam na canto superior direito)

6º E já está, é só ir ao Power BI e atualizar
