Dataset completely missing from one day to the next

Hello, 

I hope this is read by the Microsoft team: Today, all of our Power Bi reports went down and each field supplied by our dataset showed the X symbol and when clicking in to see more details, provided an HTTP response of 404.. When I looked into our dataset to find out more information, it was completely missing- like it had been deleted. I, as well as our Power Bi consultant, are the only ones with direct access to the dataset, and they did not delete it.

Is there someone at Microsoft who can get to the root cause of this issue? Has anyone else experienced this?

This will cost us a lot of time to re-create, re-connect, and re-publish ALL our reports which depend on that dataset.

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate area to request help- but I would like to do all that I can to prevent this seemingly random issue from happening again in the future.

Hi @Suitegirl_Net ,

Try to refresh this dataset manually on Power BI Service to check whether it can be refreshed successfully. If failed, check the refresh history to find some error message about this issue.
