DataFormat.Error: We found extra characters at the end of JSON input.

I have been importing data successfully with Power BI for many months.  Nothing has changed yet I now get the error message:

"DataFormat.Error: We found extra characters at the end of JSON input."

Can you please advise how to address this issue as it does not appear to be on my end.

Which data source do you get data from? Is it a JSON file? If it is, please share the JSON file with us.
