Data view column dropdown does not show checkboxes for column items

Selecting the column dropdown should show a list of unqique items in the list. However, it doesn not appear to be showing any items. Here is a video showing the same: https://youtu.be/D_8PKuY9pVI

The behaviour is erratic, working on some columns, but not others, and then only randomly. I think that the August 2022 edition has so many issues that it must be causing lots of issues for many peopole. It should be removed, and the July edition reinstated as an upgrade with a later version number.
