Data type change (Table.TransformColumnTypes) in Power Query multiplicates the data

Totally absurd situation: changing the data type adds more data to the database? In any case, that is something I would've ever expected..

the other filter is filtering only dates for me, not relevant in this problem. 

Is there something wrong I'm doing?

Hi @b3inct,

 

Please check if there are new records added into the source table at the time you perform transform step. In Query Editor, each step will be sent to data source and query data. I guess the transform step query new records form source table.

 

Please delete transform step, ensure there is no person modify source table, then add the transform step back, check if new records display.
