Data showing in query view but not showing in data view.

I’m seeing an issue where a column that is created and populated in the query view is not populated in the data view (although the column IS visible all contents are shown as blank).

 

I have tried re-creating the query, re-naming the column and changing its type, and as far as I can tell this is a bug. Please let me know if there is an existing solution to this issue.

When I create a new column on a query by using a Left Outer Join against another query and then expand the column into the value that I am interested in, the new column appears with the data as expected in the query view. However when I save and apply and go back to the data view the column is blank as shown in the screen cap below.

 

This happens even if I try on and against different queries, seems to be a bug.
