Data Source Settings does not show which Dataset the report is connected to

PBID Version: 2.70.5494.562 64-bit (June 2019)

1) The latest PBID has a new interface for Data Source Settings when you are connected to a Power BI Datasert as the data source. However the new inteface no longer highlights or flags which dataset you are connected to. The previous tree based dialogue would navigate straight to the connected dataset auttomatically so you knew what you were connected to.

2) The column headings in the new Data Source Settings dialogue scroll out of sight when you scroll down the list of datasets, it would be a lot more useful if the column headings were frozen and did not scroll out of sight.

Hi @nariusp

This is a change in Power BI desktop June version when connecting to the share datasets. See: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-desktop-june-2019-feature-summary/#sharedCertified...

For your feedback, I would suggest you post it in the Comments section in the above mentioned blog.

Best Regards,
Qiuyun Yu
