Custom tooltip not working in Power BI Service

When hovering over a visual in Power BI Service, the custom tooltip only flashes briefly on the screen. Tested on table and matrix visuals with different kind of custom tooltips. Tried re-publishing the report with latest version of Power BI Desktop, but the problem persists. The feature works on Power BI Desktop though.

Any updates on this issue? Same behavior with PBIRS Version September 2019.

Hi,
I am getting the same error with Area and Line Chart. The tooltip is working fine on PowerBI desktop but when published to powerBI service, the tooltip is getting stuck, not working smoothly.
The data is also not huge.
Please help with this situation
