Custom Font Exports Not Custom

We finally have the ability to upload a custom font that our corporation uses but..... when we export to PPT or PDF, everything changes to Times New Roman. I know that this happens from  this quote:

"When exporting to PowerPoint, if the report uses a custom font, that font will be replaced with a default font." - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/consumer/end-user-powerpoint#considerations-and-troublesho...

My two questions are.......WHY? and WHY FOR THIS MANY MONTHS?

This is the best example of "bug-is-a-feature" that I've ever seen.

Actually this is a limitation now as you mentioned. I would suggest you submit your idea here to help power bi improve.
