Create Personal Dashboard from shared reports

I have not been able to figure out a way to do this. It doesnt make sense that the only options is for us to build out dashboards and then share them with users.  We should allow them to create their own, specific to their needs. I thought we were able to do this back before 2015 and it seems like its not available anymore?  If you have access to view the report, why cant you pin and create a dashboard from it?

This is a limitation currently, you can go through this article: 

You can't pin tiles from reports that have been shared with you or from Power BI Desktop.

Yes there is already one submitted https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/6956143-allow-pinning-of-a-shared... but it has been being "Reviewed" for almost 4 years. This doesn't seem promising. What can we do as a work around for a one stop shop dashboard from multiple shared reports?

I'm afraid there is no workaround. I will consult if there is any progress of this idea, will post back here once I get information.
