Couldn't retrieve the data for this visual

Hi there ....

 

I seem to get thie below error on one of the report we publish through BI embedded.  Please can you provide me details on how to correct this .....

 

The report was working perfectly ... we performed a refresh and republished and then received the error.

 

I have tried a few options of changin file name, thus creating a new report.  That too didn't work.

Hi @berjac,

 

1. What's the connection mode? Import or Direct Query?

2. The Http status code 401 means Unauthorized. Please check your credentials.

3. What's the data source?

4. How did you embed the report?

If you are in a urgent situation, I would suggest you file a support ticket here.

As I had resolved the issue i didn't really come back to the forum as to how the issue was resolved.

 

It was quite simple [actually] ande probably my fault for fiddling around too much.

 

I had turned on [USER ROLES] which was not defined in our embedded environment ..... 

 

I hope this hepls someone else in the future.
