Changes to slicer types not reflecting (most likely due caching)

Hi there,

When I change a slicer's settings (eg go from single select to multi select) the change is not reflecting in app.

It does, however, change in the workspace

Hi @Anonymous ,

This is a by design behavior. As mentioned in documentthe app workspace is your staging area, so your changes aren't live in the app until you publish again. This lets you make changes without affecting the published apps.

Hi @v-yulgu-msft

Yep I am well aware of that difference.

I should have mentioned that, even AFTER publishing, this is occuring.

Ie the changes ARE NOT being reflected after publishing the app.

This only occurs to users who have already opened the report before (ie brand new report viewers are in fact seeing the changes reflected).

Please change the status back (it's also good practice to wait for the user to confirm before just changing it to complete...)

Hi @Anonymous ,

For such a feature request, you may submit an idea here. If it is mentioned by many users, it might be added in the future.
