Whenever a card is using Month or Work Week as its date axis and it crosses over into a new year, it defaults to sorting either alphabetically, by month order, or by week number without regard to what year these weeks/months are in. This happens especially when you need to resorting using categorical axises, since sometimes using continuous eliminates granuality when it's not given enough space.
For example, you're displaying the last 3 months of data, and January comes along, and suddenly your cards display like this:

Even when using another column in the date table to sort by, card still default to thier own internal context of displaying alphabetically or numerically.
Some other workarounds may exist but they come at a compramise in the format you're able to display with.
It would be a great addition if cards were able to sort the x-axis taking the full date into context, such as year when sorting months or weeks, and months when sorting date numbers.
