Capacity settings AI workloads errors when trying to enable


When trying to enable AI workloads in the capacity settings it fails with a red error message saying

"There was an issue updating your workload settings. Try again in a little while"

This has been happening for at least the last couple of days, anyone know whats going on?

The key to this was power bi support being able to send me the actual error message from their backend system. It said I hadn't assigned enough memory to the workload. 


The answer is in this document


I needed to assign more memory, for example for an A2 embedded pricing tier needed 100% maximum memory assigned.
