Cannot view the latest data after Re-publishing an existing dashboard

Hi All,

I'm getting the below error in the Power BI dataset view when I re-publish an existing Power BI dashboard. The dashboard displays the old data before refresh and fails to show the updated results.

When I delete the dataset and publish the dashboard, it works fine.

What's the data source in your report? Does this issue occur when you operate a data refresh in power bi service? If so, make sure the gateway has been installed and configured properly and also make sure power bi desktop has been updated to the latest version.

Hi Jimmy,

The report has multiple data sources like Salesforce, Azure data lake, and Excel SharePoint files. I have not configured the data refresh capability for this report. I do the refresh on Power BI desktop and republish the report on a weekly basis.
