Hi @drum1010

1. Update your Desktop to the latest version

2. Sign out your account in Desktop and then sign in again

3. Turn on the function in tenant settings in Power BI Service .

Yes, it works that way, but why can I not publish via Power BI desktop? We need to be able to deploy reports from Power BI Desktop, but it is not letting us. Nothing has changed except all of a sudden it no longer lets us replace the dataset. Please fix.

this is happening with all of our Power BI reports, when I try to publish them to the workspace... Another example below. @v-yetao1-msft

I updated my desktop app. I can't find anywhere in the settings that gives me the option to click that enable button. @v-yetao1-msft

Hi @Mike99Schmidt

Your account is likely not an Power BI admin account. If you know who is a Power BI admin in your organization, show him/her the following screenshots for how to do that setting check for you.

But test if that makes any difference for a day or two. If the problem persists, you may want to reverse the setting to disabled. I have it as disabled for me and I don't get the issue you have. But then again, no harm in checking if that fixes it for your team.
