Can't see connections in Relationship view

Having an issue on a Win10 machine where, int the relationship view, there are no connectors shown despite the connections being present in the relationship manager. Sometimes it kicks this error, but not always...

In general, all controls freeze after the error kicks. Otherwise, I can still alter the connections in the relationship manager. When you create a new file, you can see the connections until you close the file, they disappear upon reopening.

Occurred in April and May 2019 releases so far. Have an exact duplicate laptop sitting next to it without this problem.

Is current desktop installed from Win10 App Store or web downloaded page? Could you install the opposite one for a test?

It's from the download. Windows store is blocked on our corp machines.
