Can't Sign in after installing personal gateway

I installed the personal gateway, however, when I click sign in a pop-up box comes up but it is blank. I then have to close it and get the error "PersonalGatewayConfigurator.exe has stopped working". Is there another way to register the gateway?

Hi @Anonymous,

 

1. Make sure you install the latest On-premises data gateway (personal mode).

2. Please open Task Manager, kill the on-premises data gateway (personal mode) process, launch the on-premise data gateway (personal mode) again to sign in.

I've tried that several times. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but each time I click sign on (whether after reinstalling or relaunching the application) a blank window appears and an error is generated, "PersonalGatewayConfigurator.exe has stopped working".
