Business Central cloud connector broken in Power BI Desktop

Hi there,

 

I normally use the Power BI Desktop builtin connector to Business Central, but now it broken. Have authenticated using my normal organisational credentails and can see the BC company names (NZ-Production and SANDBOX) but not the OData feeds under that, it just throws an error "Speficied method is not supported".

 

Since this exact method of has worked many times in the past and now it stopped working in all my exsisting reports, it seems very likely its a Microsoft issue. Please fix this ASAP!!

Same issue here.

 

Additional information: it happens since last Business Central Update.

Version before update:                    16.1.12629.12805
Version after update:                       16.2.13509.13619

Same issue. Microsoft upgraded BC SaaS to 16.2 and the connector stopped working.

Working again. Did anyone hear anything about a fix?

Do you know the version number you are on for BC. I am still getting the error but was wondering if maybe there is another upgrade or patch that needs to go in for BC so it will start working for me again.

Hi @jmarek31 ,

The current application version is16.2.13509.13619.

Microsoft told us that a hot fix is being deployed during the dark hours last week.

It may take a few days. If not you shoud open a ticket.

My one works again now. Microsoft fixed the issue and are slowly rolling out the patch to everyone..

Jub, new BC Update came with a known Bug... 😞

Yea mine was working for awhile but now it is broken again. The version I am on is 16.3.14085.14287. How do i find out when the update to this version was done?
