Building dataflow is very slow

Hi, 

I'm trying to build first dataflow and it is very slow so I cannot wait (40 minutes to show dataflow). 

How to check what is going on, where can I find some hint what is wrong ?

What connection mode are you using to create this dataflow?

We suggest Using DirectQuery with dataflows - Power BI | Microsoft Learn.

 

You may reduce the number of records you are using to undertake transformation / cleansing processes.  

and also remove what you don't need.
If you have records with numerical values sitting in Text-based format, convert them to numerical values.
