Bug in the automatic units of the y-axis

Under certain conditions the automatic units on y-axis aren't working correctly.

These are the correct units when the width of the visualization is large enough: 0,  50000 and 100000.

When I make the visualization more narrow the units change to incorrect ones: 0 and 1000000

I am using the finnish version so the decimal separator in , . This might be one reason for the problem.

To re-create the problem with non-real data I had to struggle a bit.

It seems that:

  • y-axis label must be set off
  • the x-axis must be categorical
  • the values must be around 100000
  • there has to be a legend

My Power BI version is: 2.88.1682.0 64-bit (December 2020).

@TimoPB

I tried the latest version of Power BI Desktop to create a report but cannot reproduce the issue. You may try specified culture in Table.TransformColumnTypes.

Hi @v-chuncz-msft

Can I send a .pbix-file in which the problem occurs to you so that you can check if it happens to you too?
