Bug in dataflows: Using a parameter to reference a linked entity dataflow and/or workspace

Hi guys,

Wondering if anyone can help.

I'm using a dataflow and 2 linked entities to pull data from Snowflake. Everything works well until I try to parameterise a workspace id and/or dataflow ID:

Even though both the parameters work as intended, the bug appears when I expose the lineage:
This shows the expected linage -

However, when I parameter the workspace ID and/or dataflowID I get this:

You can see that it fails to recognise the parameters. This results in the dataflows within the workspace not refreshing in sequence.

Has anyone experienced this before? Is it a bug?

Cheers!

This might be caused by dynamic data source. You may share feedback via Ideas to help improve Power BI.

Thanks @v-chuncz-msft for coming back. Is there a workaround to this issue?

It would help when we want to deploy dataflows through deployment stages by importing the JSON and not have to manually change the references each time.

Do you know if there is a roadmap item to include dataflows in deployment pipelines?
