Bug importing simple XML file

I am trying to import this simple XML data into Power BI (or Excel 2016): https://bit.ly/2xsKnel

It's a simple XML, with a 3 column table (it even has the XSD schema attached). The same XML can be easly imported in former Excel versions (Excel 2003 and so on).

However, Power BI and Excel 2016 fails in multiple ways. How can get this data into my Power BI dashboard?

Hi @Pau,

I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Please update your Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.58.5103.501. Also please check your OS number format settings.

My regional settings are Spain-Spanish. But this Excel wil be used for many users with diferent regional settings.

The XML has a XSD schema, and numbers and dates use an invariant culture format. 

I need to configure the Excel/Power Bi in a way that any user can read the XML data.

If needed, I will be able to modify the format of the XML file, but I can't modify client regional settings.

In short: I want Excel honor XML/XSD data. 

Actually, I never have seen anyone using XML culture-dependent!! Non sense?

Hi @Pau,

PG team create a bug to track this issue. Currently the workaround is set Spanish OS regional settings + English(US) PowerBI Desktop settings.

@v-qiuyu-msftis there any update on this bug. I've been having the same issue in getting Power Bi to respect xsd schema.
