Bug Trying to Publish in the service without saving the file first hangs PowerBI

I am working on a powerbi file using direct query connecting in an Azure SQL Database.

In the latest (Jan) version each time i try to publish a file in the service, if I am not signed in and I haven't saved the file the powerbi hangs trying to save the file while presenting the box to sign in (that is non responsive though).

I can repro the same issue. I’ve reported it internally to Power BI Team: CRI 29789766

I’ll post here once there is any update about it.

There is a new version of PBI Desktop just released. Please download it and this issue should be fixed in this version.
