BigQuery connect failure online - not offline

I have a dashboard that fully works on Power BI desktop.

It used to work on Power BI service too.
But recently (end of december +/-), the refresh of the underlying data is consistently failing ONLINE, whereas OFFLINE there is no problem!

An example error message is:

Message: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][BigQuery] (100) Error interacting with REST API: Couldn't connect to server Table: TEAM.
URI cluster: WABI-EUROPE-NORTH-B-redirect.analysis.windows.net
Activiteits-id: 29f6bedb-b360-4549-af87-29f349562d92
Aanvraag-id: 0c554c9a-4140-0c09-e348-b77c37d6f24f
Tijd: 2020-01-20 15:29:39Z

Any ideas someone?

I tried removing tables, no solution.

I tried removing the connection, based on a PowerQuery parameter, no solution.

There are even tests which refresh at first, and with a second retry, they start failing.

OFFLINE (desktop) never a problem.

Thanks in advance!

@MBal ,

Are you using built-in bigquery connector? If you are, this issue seems to be an known issue, please check  if "bigquery.tables.list" permission has been assigned.

There's a similar case in stackoverflow:

Yes, I have this permission, and indeed am using the built-in connector.
Very odd that it used to work, but now it is no longer.
