Azure consumption insights connector timing out on table marketplace

Hi

 

We have been running Azure consumption insights for a while, but cannot connect since november to an existing dataset

 

we get the error:

Something went wrong
There was an error when processing the data in the dataset.
Please try again later or contact support. If you contact support, please provide these details.
Message: The operation has timed out Table: Marketplace.
Cluster URI: WABI-AUSTRALIA-SOUTHEAST-redirect.analysis.windows.net

Any suggestions

Hi @jmcleman,

 

Did you create the report and publish it to service before? If it is, please download the report then refresh data in Power BI desktop, check if there is any issue. Once the refresh succeeds in Power BI desktop, then republish the report to service, specify valid credential for the data source in Dataset Settings, refresh the dataset again to see if the same issue occurs.

Hi

 

Thanks for the suggestion.

 

As it turned out, I ran the data set refresh again after logging the post and it went through and my dataset is up and running again. Not sure what the underlying issue was - I did reload my credentials early in the piece - maybe that took a while to take effect.
