Azure Active Directory Activity Logs has failed to refresh

Hello everyone,

We started to receive the below emails about failed attempts to refresh our Azure AD Activity Logs from Power BI since 26/01/19.

The error in the emails looks like this:

"Oops, something went wrong.

Refresh  failed:  Azure Active Directory Activity Logs has failed to refresh.
 Failure details:

Next refresh for Azure Active Directory Activity Logs is scheduled for xxxxxx

Technical Information

Activity Id:

Request Id:

f0e21d15-cad2-4cec-83ae-5f34b00a3183

Cluster Name:

WABI-WEST-EUROPE-redirect.analysis.windows.net

Refresh Start Time:

January 25, 2019 23:00 UTC

Refresh End Time:

January 25, 2019 23:03 UTC

When I go in Power BI web GUI, I can find the following into Settings > Dataset:

- It looks like the refresh token expired. Pelase go to this dataset's settings page, and reenter the OAuth2 credentials for the Extension data source.

    and

- Data source credentials: Your data source can't be refreshed because the credentials are invalid. Please update your credentials and try again: AADData.

I clicked on "Edit credentials", type the appropriate credentials and then the same error arised:image.png

We are using OAuth2 and our account has MFA enabled and configured.

I tried removing this dataset (the only one we have) and recreated it but the same error happenend during the recreation.

Does any one have an idea on what is suddenly going on ?

All help will be appreaciated.

Thank you by advance.
