Aggregates not filtering correctly on new filter panel (May 2019)

Default aggregate features (count, sum etc) on matrix and tables are not filtering correctly in May update.

Simple test: create a matrix and aggregate using COUNT on the field. Then try to filter on this table, I want to only show rows where COUNT(measure) is > 10 for example. IN april version this works, in may this is proken.

Hi @jlinhenley ,

Comparing above screenshots from May version and April version, we can notice that differently from the Matrix in April version, in May version, there existing hierarchies on row level. That case, filters will filter based on the summarized values on the bottom level.

Please see below screenshots in my test.

As you can see, under Customer Name>Month level, available values are 4,2,1. Under Customer name level, available values are 8,3.

Set "Count of Product" to be greatert than 3.

Set "Count of Product" to be greater than 5.

It is a by default behavior, rather than a bug. You could submit an idea to allow users to filter dynamically based on Drill down/Up.

Best regards,

Yuliana Gu
