Hello,
I have a report based on a dataset that comes from an Excel workbook stored on my OneDrive Personal. Lately something went wrong, and PBI cannot find the Excel file anymore, therefore cannot update my data.
Is there a way to:
- know where PBI is looking for the Excel file ?
- change the file path in PBI Service so that it looks at the rightplace ?
I cannot switch to Desktop because I created everything in PBI Service.
I would prefer not to re-do everything because my report is embedded in another web page, therefore I would prefer not to have a new URL for my report...

It is not possible to change data source location for the existing report in Power BI Service.
In your scenario, please re-connect to the Excel file in Power BI Service, then create a empty report and move visuals from original report to this newly created report. For more details, please review the following blog:
