Hi - i've a content pack that gets information from a BIDesktop file. When i make data refreshes to the desktop file, the content pack updates. However, if i make a change e..g add a new report on BIDesktop file or edit a report there, it doesn't update the contact pack for others. I don't have an option of clicking update either. Anyone else having this issues?
Are you saying that when you are on the site, and go to settings (wheel) -> view content pack -> edit
That you are unable to update the content pack?
@jan you can go to View Content packs option and then make some changes to the description field to have the Update button light up. Then you should be able to make the update happen.

Hi - the issue is i don't want to have to update the content pack - that gets messy for the end users. i would rather it automatically updates , or is it just the data that does that and not changes to desktop files.
Only the data will update.
Any physical changes to the content pack that you make, you will need to push to the end user.
If the end user made no changes to the Content Pack, then their visuals will just update with no need for them to do anything.
If the end user saved a copy of the Content Pack, then they will need to get the latest version you pushed, and reconcile things on their end manually.
