Stream Analytics from another azure account?

I have an Azure account which is under my personal microsoft account (so when I sign in, i click personal, not school or work). Using the same email address it appears I also have a power BI account, but from what I am reading this has been created as a work account. Now I'm trying to connect the two somehow so I can use the data from stream analytics in a powerBI report. Is this possible?

It seems odd that I can't sign in to PowerBI with my personal microsoft account and still get full functionality as that would simplify this greatly. If anyone can help with how this is done, either online or via PowerBI desktop, it would be greatly appreciated.

You would need to use a work account or school account for Power BI. As stated in this article, To create a real-time analytics dashboard for streaming data in Power BI, make sure that you have an Azure account(personal Microsoft account or work account or school account) and an account for Power BI( work account or a school account).

When you Click on Authorize to map the Power BI account in the following screenshot. You will be prompted to login with your Power BI username and password. This account can be different from your Azure account.
