Started getting this error for the PowerBI Impala and ODBC Connector:
Details: "ODBC: ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][DriverSupport] (1160) Cannot enable SSL for the connection when connecting to a server that has not enabled SSL. If the server has SSL enabled, please check if it has been configured to use a SSL protocol version that is lower than what is allowed for the connection. The minimum SSL protocol version allowed for the connection is: TLS 1.2."
is this a permissions issue? Or does the IT at my organization need the "minimum SSL protocol" of TLS 1.2?
@DataGuyJim,
What version of Power BI Desktop do you use? Please update your Power BI Desktop to latest version( 2.66.5376.1681).
In addition, do you configure SSL for the Impala server? If so, ensure that the SSL protocol version is lower than TLS 1.2.
Regards,
Lydia
Still I am facing the same issue
From the Power BI Desktop' log it seems some certificate issue with the inbuild-odbc driver for Impala
Please help on this
