Power BI - Unable to link Sharepoint List (On-Premise)

Hi There,

Am having issues linking an On-Premise SharePoint list to PowerBI. It seems there are columns in the particular list which cause the connection to fail. I am able to link basic lists with no issue. The list i am trying to link has cross-lookup columns, calculated, choice, multi-line and Person or Group columns. Is there a list of supported column types for PowerBi linking? Has anyone else experience this issue.

The error i recieve is:

DataSource.Error: SharePoint: Request failed: The remote server returned an error: (500) Internal Server Error. (An error occurred while processing this request.)
Details:
    DataSourceKind=SharePoint

Hi @powerbigeek,

There is no list of supported column type for Power BI linking.

Do you connect to on-premises SharePoint list from Power BI Desktop and use "Get Data-> SharePoint list" entry? As far as I know, the above error could occur when SharePoint lists have calculated fields. Do you get any errors when removing calculated columns from SharePoint list?

There is a similar thread for your reference.
