On Premises Date Gateway Max connections error on MySQL

Hello everybody,

I'm having problems with our On Premises Date Gateway.

I have three data sources, two MySQL databases and one MSSQL database, the MySQL databases are on different servers.

One MySQL database and the MSSQL database work, but the second MySQL database connection is not working.

When adding the data sources, the message "Connection successful!", but when I perform an update I get errors.

Fehler1.PNGFehler2.PNG

On the MySQL database, the value of Max Connections is 49 and the limit is 151, it can not be.

When I execute "FLUSH HOSTS" I can re-enter the login data for the data queues, but the same errors occur when I run again.

On the server where the gateway is installed I have the MySQL Connector / NET 8.0.13 installed.

Is such an error known to you?  If you need more information just let me know.

Many Thanks and best regards

Steffen

@sdenter,

Please schedule a job to run the mysqladmin flush-hosts command from the MySQL administration shell.Or increase the max_connect_errors variable for your MySQL instance if the error still occurs.

I could solve the problem, I looked at the wrong variable.

I looked at max connections, but it's max_connect_errors.
